Hidden talent

"CSar or the anxiety for discovery"
Endless meanders in rivers of silver,
synthetic in nature, makes us shiver.
As old mathematicians long ago gone
it keeps counting alone.
Now that the world is at your feet
your eager beat is only for an elite.
Many dreams of fame
ephemeral thoughts, now a shame.
I have taken you in adoption
without considering any other option.
In our sweet loneliness
we see time passing by; tireless mess
Rosa
Early in the morning,
or even late at night,
her being is latent at home.
Her smile, her laughter,
her playful running,
her approaching to curiosity,
her continuous discoveries,
give the opportunity
to have all things reborn
every day, all days.
In the freshness of the morning,
just being able to thank
for this graceful gift.

Trying to hold you, I failed again
I can't be both to set aside your fears
I won't be anymore in your mind
I can't be once more your tears
I said a million times that you can borrow
my heart until on of us dies
now that you are the first to fly
I will remain here covered by sorrow
Now that my arms are short
Now that everything falls apart
all my thoughts are blank
that wasn't what I thought
At least there was an end
I didn't want to be on that day
when all my memories went away
you kept all of them in your mind.

You are the house of humanity
Always turning around, alone in the universe
you have seen the human being appear
and you will see, hopefully, in a long time
the person disappear.
You have offered us a wonderful garden
full of flowers and fruits, to nourish our children and brothers
with a deep blue ocean and lively rivers.
But our nonsense has shown
that we do not deserve your generosity
and, if we don't take care of you
we may someday lose you forever.
