English Proverbs Redux

Today we talked about English proverbs, and then acted them out for each other.
1)the grass is always greener on the other side (jobs, Xavi's privileges at work!)
2)beggars can't be choosers/don't look a gift horse in the mouth (purple car & ungrateful kid)
3)don't cry over spilt milk (Jose Mourinho is a sore loser)

Other topics: cultural differences when it comes to paying the bill, dress codes...

Homework: Next class, give a short presentation (5 minutes?) on a topic of your choice, Ted video, your hobby, artificial intelligence(!), etc.
Next class: Complements activity(?), empathy
